Knowsley’s Christmas Jumper Day supports charities

KNOWSLEY Junior School raised more than £280 as pupils swapped their uniform for festive clothes on their Christmas Jumper Day.

The money was used to buy goods to be shared between Oldham Foodbank and Hit Radio’s Christmas Toy Appeal.

Greg Barratt (Community Champion) from Tesco in Greenfield kindly discounted the items bought from the store for the foodbank, which raised the total amount of goods donated to them to £162.
