TALENTED LOCAL artists will exhibit a selection of their work at the Brownhill Visitor Centre in Dobcross as part of this month’s Saddleworth Outdoor Festival.
The exhibition will run from September 16-27 and will celebrate the dramatic and unspoilt local landscape.
The featured artists are Jim Barratt, Sean Wills, Ray Green, David Hickling and Diana Terry, and more of their work will also be on display and for sale at the Evening of Adventure Talk Nights.
Jim Barrott is a local photographer who has captured some of the most beautiful locations on the planet.
His latest project has been to photograph locations around Oldham for a new walking guidebook, Oldham Discovery Walks.
Ray Green, who has a passion for capturing the local landscape, took the wonderful photographs which feature in the locally acclaimed walking guidebook, Saddleworth Discovery Walks.
Sean Willis is local fellrunner who spends his relaxation time sketching and painting the environments in which he loves to run.
Diana Terry is a local artist who is well known for her paintings of local landscape scenes around Saddleworth and the Dark Peak National Park.
She has a studio in Mossley but has exhibited throughout the country and her work has become quite sought after.
David Hickling is an accomplished ultra-distance runner who has a passion for painting. He studied fine art at Manchester Metropolitan University and has a studio in Diggle.
His wonderful works have featured in many art exhibitions and adorn the walls of many art lovers.
