TWO COMEDY shows in May will put the people of Saddleworth in a good mood as well as raising funds for charity at the Royal George in Greenfield.

On Saturday, May 17, a fundraiser in aid of Springhead Nursery and Infants PTA will see Nick Doody, Stuart Mitchell and Jonny Pelham entertain.
Headline act Nick Doody always goes down well with the Greenfield crowd, Stuart Mitchell has Frank Skinner as one of his fans and Jonny Pelham is a BBC New Comedy Award Finalist.
Then on Sunday, May 25, Geordie comedian Jason Cook returns alongside Matt Forde, David Stanier and Carl Hutchinson.
Jason Cook’s Radio 4 series ‘School Of Hard Knocks‘ was warmly received by critics while Talk Sport presenter Matt Forde swaps into his shoes as an accomplished stand up to open the show.
Meanwhile, The Comedy Club has teamed up with the Royal George to launch a mouth-water meal deal – ticket holders can enjoy a free starter or dessert when they book a table in advance to dine on a show day.
To take advantage of the meal deal, ring the pub on 01457 837851 and quote ‘comedy club meal deal’. You must present your show ticket when you dine.
