BUYERS moving to the Heather View development in Hade Edge, Holmfirth, can reduce the time it takes to sell their property by weeks thanks to an initiative by Jones Homes.Over the past six months, the developer’s Agency Assist scheme has helped Jones Homes customers to sell their old homes within a month, with some taking as little as two weeks to secure a buyer.
According to Rightmove, the average time taken to sell a home in the North West currently stands at 63 days – exactly nine weeks.
Jayne Swift, Sales and Marketing Director for Jones Homes Yorkshire, said: “Our Agency Assist scheme helps our customers to sell their properties so they can buy a new home from us.
“We instruct an independent estate agent who will secure a realistic valuation and we work with them to progress the sale. We also pay the estate agency fees up to a maximum of £3,000.
“Our agent’s expertise in selling homes makes the difference to our customers. They understand the process and know how to navigate from valuation to agreeing a sale, then seeing the deal through to completion.
“We remain in constant contact with the agent to make the process smoother and more effective for our customers. The results speak for themselves.”
Rightmove’s August price index highlighted the North West property market as being among the country’s most buoyant, with prices still demonstrating steady growth.
Jayne Swift said: “There is sustained demand for new homes in the North West and a shortage of supply, so with the right guidance people should feel confident about selling their property.
“Through Agency Assist, we are offering our customers the support they need to secure a sale quickly and at the right price, so they can buy their new home.”
