New owners serve up delicious dishes at Balti Mossala in Lees

The restaurant on the high street has a fresh look and menu after new owner Tabirul Islam, who is also head chef, took over with his team about five months ago.

The premises have been stylishly redecorated and the kitchen cleaned and improved ready to serve up delicious dishes for customers.

The previous owners suffered a poor hygiene rating from Oldham Council but the new team has improved standards and facilities – and has the certificate to prove it.

Open seven days a week, they are now serving up an array of starters and appetisers, traditional and signature dishes, and house specials.

There are also vegetarian options, an English menu and a children’s menu, offering something for everyone to enjoy. They are also fully licensed to serve alcohol.

And they pride themselves on accommodating people with all types of food allergies and intolerances – please make sure to mention your requirements when ordering.

They offer free home delivery on orders over £15 within a three-mile radius or get a 10 percent discount if you collect your takeaway.

The restaurant can also cater for events for up to 60 people, with a buffet on request, and is ideal for small parties, wedding receptions, anniversaries, birthdays and more.

They are now taking bookings for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. All bookings require a non-refundable deposit of £10 per person.

On Christmas Day there are sittings at 12.30pm, 3pm and 5.30pm. Choose between a four-course Indian menu or traditional three-course Christmas menu for £19.95 per adult / £14.95 per child under 11.

Then on New Year’s Eve, then are open from 4pm to midnight and will be serving a three-course Indian menu for £19.95 per adult / £14.95 per child under 11.
