AUSTERLANDS have signed former Pakistan Under-19 captain Imran Rafique as their professional.
The 23-year-old left-hand batsman and left arm spin bowler was professional at Bradford League club Townville.
Austerlands have also captured Kashif Siddique as their overseas amateur.
Siddique, 37, is a left-hand top-order batsman and left arm spin bowler who was a former professional at Lancashire League club Padiham where he scored more than 7,000 runs and taken 500 wickets during six seasons with them.
They take over from the South African pairing of Roger Arendse and Chris Williamson who were professional and overseas amateur last season.
Austerlands have received a boost as all-rounder Peter Higginbottom is staying at the Thorpe Lane club.
Higginbottom, who came in midway through last season from Ashton, is also doubling up as one of the club’s lead junior coaches.
However, Austerlands have lost opening bowler Lee Milner who has left the club.
FRIARMERE have re-engaged Adrian Du Toit and Jamie King as their overseas players.
The club moved quickly to secure the pair for the 2020 season as South African Du Toit was a player in demand as he received offers from 14 other clubs.
Friarmere have also signed all-rounder Nick Elliott-Whitehead from neighbours Delph.
Elliott-Whitehead is a left arm spin bowler and batsman.
