RAVE REVIEWS from happy clients have clinched a top Oldham lettings agent the Gold ‘Agent of the Year Award 2015’ in Greater Manchester.

Northwood, run by Saddleworth-based brothers Mike and David Procter, scooped the prestigious honour from raterAgent after impressed clients went online to praise the company.
The ‘raterAward’ recognises high quality of service as evidenced by customer feedback throughout the year from reviews submitted by sellers, landlords, buyers and tenants.
Mike said: “We’re delighted to win the award, particularly as it’s based directly on clients’ feedback, which is so important to us.
“There are around 25,000 estate agents in the country so to be ranked as one of the best of them is wonderful and very rewarding.”
Mal McCallion, raterAgent’s CEO and co-founder, added, “Northwood has beaten off dozens of local competitors to win this award.
“It’s based on hand-checked reviews on raterAgent, a site devoted to providing those researching the right agent with comprehensive information about the best one for them.
“Northwood has delighted clients, ones happy to publicly praise the service they’ve been provided with this year.”
Mike and David, along with maintenance manager Alex Turner and lettings negotiators Emily Landregan and Jo Wildman, look after more than 300 properties across Saddleworth and Oldham right up to the outskirts of Manchester.
And they believe one key to their success is their Instant Rent scheme, where landlords receive fixed payments instantly after signing up regardless of whether their property is let.
The award follows another recent success for the team, who were named ‘Lancashire’s Best Letting Agent 2015’ by allAgents.
And nationally, Northwood, whose network is approaching 100 offices with more than 20,000 landlords, were named ‘Best Franchise’ and ‘Best Large Chain’.
