TICKETS ARE selling out quickly for a jam-packed and star-studded line-up from Off the Rails Comedy Club this year.
On Saturday, February 8 a fundraiser in aid of St Thomas, Moorside Scouts sees Scouse super scally Nige and cop turned comic Alfie Moore both strutting their very funny stuff.
And there’s only 20 tickets left for the show, which will be held at the Royal George on Manchester Road, Greenfield.
On Sunday, February 23 Canada’s Tom Stade returns to open the show, which will also feature John Lynn and Mick Ferry.
And then on Thursday, March 13 comedian, journalist, novelist and activist Rob Newman makes a hotly anticipated return to comedy with his first complete show in 7 years.
In the past 20 years he has performed five solo stand-up shows including ‘Apocalypso Now’ which was recorded and aired by More 4 under the title A History of Oil.
Also lined up to appear in 2014 are Alun Cochrane in April and June while Justin Moorhouse will preview his Edinburgh Fringe show in July.
