SADDLEWORTH is set for a revolution in beauty treatments after The Eyebrow House opened its doors in Uppermill.
Owner Nicola Rocks offers the very best and latest in brands and techniques for that bit of pampering should anyone want that special treatment.
After training with one of the UK’s most familiar names in the industry Karen Betts, the 39-year-old has set up shop for the first time after gathering a loyal group of clients.
Nicola said: “With the majority of my client base being over here, I thought about opening a shop and looked at others around here, which are all brilliant and have their own thing going on, but no-one really specialises in eyebrows.
“I thought there was a nice little opening without having to compete against anyone. It was just a nice fit.
“And I’ve taken my time on kitting the shop out as I wanted it to be an experience where you could feel like you’re at a spa.
“I want the experience to be high-end and for people to feel quite special. It’s exactly how I thought it would be in my head.”
The Eyebrow House, on St Mary’s Gate, Uppermill, specialises in eyebrows, with the Phibrows brand on offer as well as semi-permanent make-up and micro-blading, but also in the Crystal Clear range, which the Duchess of Cambridge had before her wedding to Prince William.
Derma-planing, skin peels using Clinicare, and plasma anti-ageing treatments are also on offer and soon scalp micro-pigmentation will be available.
And if the opening night on November 22 was anything to go by, expect plenty of business.
Nicola added: “About 80 people turned up to our opening night, which was to create a bit of awareness.
“Wherever I’ve worked, I’ve never had a sign up, never mind a shop of my own. I’d built everything up on word of mouth.”
