DELPH’S LEGENDARY Party in the Park will return with a bang this year for its tenth anniversary.
The popular event, organised by Wake Up Delph, will be held on Saturday, September 19 at Delph and Dobcross Cricket and Bowling Club, Huddersfield Road, with gates open from 3pm.
One of the organisers Phil Beckwith commented: “Come rain or shine we promise it will be a fantastic night of entertainment and fun – and it will be extra special for the anniversary.
“We’ve got a top line up of entertainment planned, including ‘Rule the World’, a tribute to Take That, plus Only One Direction.
“We’re also welcoming The Fantastics and special guests Mike Sweeney and the Thunderbirds.
“Delph Band will close the evening with a Last Night of the Proms finale with soprano Sally Mitchell and the whole evening will be compered by Gilbert Symes.”
Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 19 so grab yours soon to avoid disappointment but all corporate hospitality and gazebos have already sold out.
