PICK up your binoculars for a ‘Beginners Bird Watching Walk’ at Dovestone Reservoir in Greenfield on Sunday, April 15 from 10.30am to 1pm.
Join the RSPB on this guided walk, which is approximately three miles, to learn how to use binoculars and recognise some of the birds you may see at the beauty spot or in your garden.
Please bring binoculars if you have them (some available to borrow on the day if not), and also any snacks and drink you may want.
Warm, waterproof clothing and suitable outdoor footwear should be worn as some paths may be muddy and uneven. Sorry no dogs on this walk.
Meet at the top of the main Dovestone car park. Parking is free for RSPB members with their membership card displayed in the windscreen.
Cost for the walk is £5 per person (£4 RSPB members). All events are weather dependent and may be cancelled at short notice.
Booking is essential – please call 07921 069924 or email: Miriam.firstname.lastname@example.org
