POLICE ARE appealing for help to trace a man from Oldham who they would like to speak to in relation to a number of burglaries.
They want to speak to 44-year-old Mark Fitton in relation to a number of offences in towns and villages in Cheshire and Lancashire.
He is described as white, around 5 foot 7 inches in height, of stocky build, with short black greying hair. He has blue eyes and is usually clean shaven.
Fitton is not considered a risk to the public but police are keen to trace him as part of their investigation.
Detective Sergeant Claire Jesson said: “I would urge anyone who has seen Mark Fitton, or knows of his recent or current whereabouts, to contact us on 101.
“If people don’t want to speak to the Police then they can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 111555.
“Similarly, I make a personal appeal to Mark himself to come forward and present himself at his nearest police station.”
Anyone with any information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 and ask to speak to DS Claire Jesson.
