POLICE ARE appealing for information after a man was stabbed in a night club in Oldham.
The 30-year-old man was on the dance floor of Club Revolution on Yorkshire Street at around 3.20am on Sunday 9 August 2015.
He was approached by a group of men before there was an altercation. He was stabbed in the neck and the men ran off.
Detective Constable Gareth Gwilliam said: “At this stage, it is not known whether a knife or a broken bottle was used.
“What we do know is the victim is extremely lucky not to have suffered a more serious wound. Thankfully, he is on the way to recovery but has been left shocked by what happened.
“I would ask anyone who may have been in the club at the time of the attack and witnessed what happened, to call police as soon as possible as unfortunately we do not have any descriptions.”
Anyone with information should phone police on 0161 856 9063 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
