Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was hit by a lorry in Oldham.
Shortly before 3pm on Thursday 16 March 2017 police were called to Manchester Road, at the junction with Cambridge Street, to reports that a woman had been hit by a HGV.
Officers attended and discovered a 54-year-old woman with serious injuries. She was taken to hospital where her condition remains serious.
Police are now investigating and appealing for witnesses.
Constable Ed Lister from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “My thoughts are with the woman and her family.
“We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who caught the incident on their dash-cam.”
