A QUAINT cottage in Delph has been transformed into a stylish, luxury holiday let where visitors can enjoy the charms of the Saddleworth countryside.

Dairy Cottage, which sits in a secluded spot with open views up to Knott Hill and Delph Hill, has been extensively renovated to offer a tranquil stay for up to four guests.
Traditional features have been preserved, including a beautiful bedroom with original antique French Corbielle bed, as well as a living area with fireplace.
But visitors can also enjoy the benefits of contemporary luxury in the designer shower room and new fitted kitchen, with a brand new heating system and electrics throughout.
Outside a secluded, private patio offers uninterrupted views of the Saddleworth hills and an ideal spot to sit and enjoy a drink.
Greenfield resident Jane Jones, who owns the cottage, explained: “I have always been interested in opening a bed and breakfast in the country but never thought it would be possible as I belong completely to a ‘rat race’ life.
“But on a walk one day I stumbled across the cottage with the ‘for sale’ board on it and the idea came from there.
“Lots of people want to visit our beautiful area so I thought I might as well try B&B/holidays on my own doorstep.”
The cottage is available daily for £75 a night, weekly for £325 or monthly and long-term lets are available by negotiation. B&B is available with a continental breakfast or a champagne breakfast.
