SADDLEWORTH RANGERS rugby players and coaches were recognised for their hard-work and dedication at the club’s annual open age Awards Presentation Evening.

The club finished eighth in the National Conference League Division One, after three victories in their final four games secured their spot for next year’s campaign.
They will be led by new first team coach Craig Farrimond, who is taking over from Shane Tupaea.
The awards winners were:
Player of the Year: Josh Bradbury
Players Player of the Year: Josh Bradbury
Coaches’ Player of the Year: Ethan Langhorn
Philip Grimwood trophy for Players’ Player of the Year: Josh Bradbury
Jack Clow trophy for Clubman of the year: Shane Tupaea
Coaches awards: Shane Tupaea, Craig Farrimond and Chris Wareing
The club’s Youth Team Presentation Night will be held on Saturday, November 15 at the clubhouse on Shaw Hall Bank Road in Greenfield.
The awards for 8s/9s/10s will be presented from 3-5pm followed by awards for the 11/12/13s from 5-7pm then the 14s /16s from 7.30pm onwards.
