A SEA of red suits will once more fill Saddleworth streets as the date for this year’s popular Santa Dash has been confirmed.
Saddleworth Round Table will bring their annual festive tradition, now in its 12th year, to Uppermill again on Saturday, December 5 from 1.30pm.
The fun run, which is open to all ages, starts at the King George V playing fields, takes participants towards Greenfield and then back to Uppermill again.
Saddleworth Round Table posted on their Facebook page: “Join us on Saturday, 5th December 2026 as we transform Uppermill into a sea of dashing Santas.
“Whether you plan to sprint, jog, walk, or push a pram, bring the whole family along for an unmissable day of festive cheer, music, and community spirit.
“Ticket sales, suit pick-up details, and route announcements will be dropping very soon!
“As always, every penny raised goes straight back into supporting local charities, good causes, and community groups across Saddleworth.”
The Santa Dash is followed by Round Table’s village’s Winter Wonderland event, including the Santa parade and lights switch-on, concluding with a fireworks display.
