SEPTEMBER IS shaping up for some superb silliness in Saddleworth at Off the Rails Comedy Club.

One national tour and two fundraisers will be topped off with the second Saddleworth Comedy Weekend featuring some of the UK’s funniest talent at the Royal George on Manchester Road.
Saturday, September 19 sees the players and fans of AFC Oldham being treated to the comedic skills of Dan Nightingale, the winner of last year’s Fringe Panel Prize Phil Ellis.
Also entertaining the crowd will be newly crowned English Comedian Of The Year and former Hollyoak’s star Brennan Reece.
Then Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 September promises a veritable overdose of hilarity with the second Saddleworth Comedy Weekend.
Audiences will be treated to Justin Moorhouse’s tour show on the Thursday, a fundraiser for Glodwick Cricket Club on Saturday and then the usual last Sunday of the month show.
Comedians appearing include Britain’s Got Talent’s wonderkind Jack Carroll, TV and radio regular Alun Cochrane and London’s Carl Donnelly.
