A PARTNERSHIP between Oldham Council and Housing and Care 21 has been shortlisted for a prestigious award.
The Oldham Annual Service Report 2015/16 has been shortlisted in the Excellence in Annual Reports category at the North West TPAS awards to be held in Manchester on April 7.
The publication is a supported housing service report with a difference; produced in calendar format, it is a live document that can be used by residents, staff and partners.
The Co-operative themes led by Oldham Council and showcased in the calendar highlight the positive work that Housing and Care 21 deliver with residents and partners, such as digital inclusion and ageing well initiatives.
Issie Howard, Partnerships Manager for Housing and Care 21 said: “We wanted to produce a really reader-friendly publication that captures all the achievements and great work being done by the tenants and staff in Oldham all year round.
“We think we have achieved it with our Annual Report 2016. We’re proud to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award.”
Councillor Barbara Brownridge, Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods and Co-operatives, said: “Oldham Council is committed to working with our tenants and ensuring they are kept up to date with the latest news, information and events – helping to improve their lives so that they can influence the delivery of our housing services.
“This shortlisting shows that we are on the right track and are providing a calendar that is useful.”
