A Greenfield pub took centre stage after being chosen as the location for the filming of popular television soap ‘Coronation Street’.
Stars from the ITV show came to The Royal George on Manchester Road in October for one morning of filming inside the award-winning pub.
There were lights set up outside the pub, as well as notices reading: “Please be aware that filming is occurring in this area. Sorry for any inconvenience.”
The episode featuring the pub is expected to be aired in six to seven weeks.
