GAYNOR KEANE and Alaster Docherty were the leading finishers for Saddleworth Runners in the Milltown to Moors Oldham Half Marathon.
Austerlands-based Gaynor, who clocked a time of 1hr 34min 26sec, was runner-up in the women’s over-35 category, was fourth in the overall female standings and was 55th overall from 333 finishers.
Alaster was 42nd in the overall placings in a time of 1:33.17.
At the head of the field, the half marathon was won by Sale Harriers’ Gareth Raven in a time of 1:11.19. Salford Harriers had the next two finishers as Ian McBride (1:21.41) was runner up and third place went to Nathan Kilcourse (1:13.29).
And a special mention to Dennis Mellor, who was in the 80 years age category. He finished last in a time of 4:12.21.
