The free open exhibition will feature images in a range of styles including portrait, landscape, experimental and art.

The Saddleworth Photography Group, which has more than 100 members, sets weekly practical challenges to help photographers learn from their own practice and from that of others.

Group leader Jude Gidney said: “One of our aims is to make photography accessible to everyone, so we were delighted The Reclamation Room agreed to host our show.

“All exhibitors are displaying to a professional standard, some for the first time, all working in a personal capacity.

“It gives members an opportunity to share work that may be very different from what they produce in their professional lives.”

Rachel Weir, the Reclamation Room manager, said: “We are constantly amazed at the standard of talent in the local area, and are looking forward to seeing some wonderful images on our walls.”

The exhibition is open to the public 9am – 5pm Tuesday – Saturday, 10am – 4pm Sunday, closed Monday.
