TWO TALENTED pupils have kicked their way into the World Karate Championships in Dublin next year.
Katie Hardman and Elise Proctor, who attend Mossley Hollins High School, both train with Ken Yu Kai Karate Mossley.
Elise has participated for six years and is nine months away from achieving her black belt while Katie has been involved for five years and is 14 months away from her black belt.
And their hard work and talent has paid off as they have both been selected to represent England at the major tournament in 2016.
Mossley Hollins High School said: “Both girls have very busy schedules, however they don’t let this affect their school life and their work is always completed to a high standard.
“Karate has helped both girls’ develop discipline and has given the girls an amazing amount of self-confidence.
“Congratulations to both girls and good luck from all of us at Mossley Hollins.”
