DEDICATED FUNDRAISERS kick-started their busy 2016 schedule with a mouth-watering Lancashire Tapas evening at The Three Crowns at Scouthead.
The Woman of Oldham committee gathered with around 50 guests to enjoy the tasty spread laid on by landlord Ray Hicks and head chef Steve Mitchell.
The committee, pictured here with Chairman Margaret Chadderton, will be raising money throughout this year at a series of events in aid of the Kingfisher Community Special School.
Their next event is a ‘Cheese and Wine and Silent Auction’ on Friday, June 10 at St Edwards Parish Hall in Lees from 7.30pm, all welcome. Tickets in advance from secretary Janet Larton 0161 652 8878.
They will hold their annual glittering Woman of Oldham Luncheon on Wednesday, September 14 at the White Hart, Lydgate. More details to follow soon.
