ONE WAY traffic restrictions will be in place temporarily in Uppermill as works are carried out for three days from Monday, February 1.
The restrictions will be in place at New Street from its junction with High Street to its junction with Boltons Yard, with the permitted direction in an easterly direction only.
There will also be restrictions at Smithy Lane from Boltons Yard to High Street, with the permitted direction in a westerly direction only.
The restrictions are required because of a sewer collapse and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out over 3 days.
The alternative route for those affected by the restriction shall be via Church Road/New Street/Boltons Yard/Smithy Lane.
