A THERAPIST whose life was transformed by cryotherapy is urging others to try out the treatment at her new clinic in Denshaw.
Seven years ago Debbi Glover was diagnosed with the debilitating chronic illness Fibromyalgia, which usually manifests itself as chronic pain and fatigue.
She was resigned to simply managing her symptoms and taking medication as no suitable alternative treatment could be found.
But then a friend told her about cryotherapy, a freezing technology that triggers a natural physiological reaction to cold temperatures resulting in increased blood circulation that provides benefits for the body.
Cynical but willing Debbi undertook a series of localised cryotherapy treatments – with outstanding results.
She explained: “Being in pain daily or asleep for days at a time was having a negative effect on my family life – with fibromyalgia everything hurts and what doesn’t hurt doesn’t work!
“After a handful of hour-long treatments I felt the pain and fatigue lessen and after just 12 treatments I felt my life was back to normal pre-diagnosis.
“Family and friends are astounded at the results, my improved physical appearance and my personality and energy. I have my life back!
“Now I maintain my health with regular treatments and don’t wish to ever return to a life of pain, fatigue, low energy and non-existent motivation.”
Inspired by the success Debbi founded CryoHealth in November 2015 just five weeks after commencing her own treatments as the effects were “simply unbelieveable”.
She wants to offer the treatment at an affordable price and help others to achieve mind and body wellness.
