  1. The streets and properties of Oldham are becoming less safe, particularly for lone women walking home in the evening after a night out. There have been several rapes and sexual assaults with the most recent being near to the big TESCO on Huddersfield road, which was reported by the Saddleworth Independent.

What has not been reported is the progress in catching this vile predator and no update has been provided by the Police or local councillors to reassure the community that the perpetrator will or has been apprehended.

It is once again example of the poor service provided by our local Majority Labour controlled council, who due to the overwhelming majority of Labour Councillors, can simply ignore the electorate from one local election to the next.

If you want safer streets and your concerns to be addressed, you need to elect representatives that break the monopoly of labour control. Next time vote UKIP and start the fight back for democracy and provision of targeted services to protect the vulnerable within our society.
