Thumbs up for ‘Who am I’ book

IT SEEMS everyone wants to know the answer to ‘Who am I?’ after a busy and successful turn-out at a book launch for a local writer.

Joanne Lees, from Greenfield, unveiled her first book at the Saddleworth Museum last month.

The book charts the mum-of-two’s experiences and work as a person-centred counsellor over the last few years, through taking her training and qualifications to setting up her own business ‘Find the Light’.

Joanne, 47, said: “I have struggled with mental health problems for as long as I can remember – until I began to journal seven years ago.

“I didn’t for one minute think I would be sharing my most private thoughts with the rest of the world but as the years have passed, I healed through my writing.

“I realised I had to share my findings with the rest of the world so ‘Who am I’ was born.”

Joanne added: “I love seeing a person find themselves again and being able to help them have a better life. I am not here to lead them on their journey, just to walk with them.”

The book launch was a double celebration as Joanne teamed up with independent publishing house Creative Locations, who launched their business at the same event.

They are based at Saddleworth Business Centre in Delph.

‘Who am I?’ can be purchased online on Amazon or at Moonstone gift shop and psychic venue in Greenfield.
