OLDHAM’S title-winning netball club will now look the part after scoring an exclusive three-year partnership with performance sportswear brand VX3.
The current national Premier League Division One champions – an astonishing 12th crown in 14 years to add to its 60 national junior titles – will now be kitted out by the company.
The agreement marks a significant step forward for the best amateur club in the country, and a range of teamwear will also shortly be available for supporters to buy at fellow club partner Netball UK.
Oldham Netball Club’s head coach Pamela Hazelton expressed her excitement about the partnership.
She said: “We are delighted with the new kits and our partnership with VX3.
“The new design elevates our status on court while embracing everything about our club. Incorporating the Oldham owl, symbolising our local heritage, makes the kit feel truly ours.
“And every girl will proudly showcase our strapline: ‘We bleed red and blue.’”
Senior head coach and managing director of Netball UK, Debbie Hallas – who lives in Grotton – collaborated closely with VX3 on the design.
And the end product has received the seal of approval as she added: “The team at VX3 have been integral in creating a design that, in my opinion, elevates us beyond so many teams at every level in terms of look and style.
“Not only do we look the part, but the garments are made from materials that support and complement elite sport, all while delivering a sleek, modern finish.”
General manager of team sports at VX3, Howard Shaddick, commented: “We are incredibly proud to partner with Oldham Netball Club, a club with such a rich footprint in netball in England.
“At VX3, our mission is to support athletes at every level with performance-led apparel that looks, feels, and performs at the highest standard.
“Working closely with the club and Netball UK to create a kit that reflects Oldham’s identity, heritage and ambition has been a fantastic collaboration.
“We look forward to supporting the players and supporters in our apparel over the next three years as they continue to compete.”
