ENJOY ‘The Very Best of Brass’ as top band Black Dyke returns to play once more at the Civic Hall in Uppermill.
The band and their Musical Director Nicholas J Childs will raise the roof at the venue on Saturday, November 3, starting at 7.30pm.
Compere for the evening will be David Hoyle from BBC Radio Leeds ‘Yorkshire Brass’.
The band, which was established in 1855, is current champions of Yorkshire and was heading to the national Championship finals at the Royal Albert Hall as the Independent went to press.
Phil Beckwith, organiser of the event, said: “Black Dyke are probably the number one brass band in the country at the moment.
“We are looking forward to having them perform again in Uppermill and it promises to be another great night.”
