STARS of the local and national music scene will take to the stage as Party in the Park returns to Delph later this year.
The popular family event will be held for a 14th year at Delph and Dobcross Cricket Club on Saturday, September 21 from 3pm-10pm.
BBC Radio Manchester DJ presenter Mike Sweeney will once again be compere for the occasion, which is organised by the Wake Up Delph Team.
There will be a host of talented bands and musicians on stage throughout the evening, including local favourites as well as big names from across the country.
Phil Beckwith, from the organising committee, said: “Mike Sweeney once again will be the compere for the event and we’re delighted to welcome him back.
“We are looking forward to a great line-up of musicians and bands. Part of that line up will be the popular Stax of Soul as well as other local bands.
“And another fantastic act taking the stage will be award-winning official number one Take That tribute ‘Rule The World’, who were called “brilliant” by Gary Barlow.”
Other acts will include Victor Michael, Delph Brass Band and tribute acts Fiona Shaw, Forever Jackson and Tanni.
The event will finish with Last Night of the Proms by Delph Band and a spectacular fireworks finale.
Tickets are on sale now and cost £60 for a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children under 14), £26 for a single, or £22 for concessions (under 2s go free).
