With a mounting injury list Oldham RL Club have signed London Broncos youngsters Kameron Pearce-Paul and Sadiq Adebiyi, each on a month’s loan.
Both aged 20, they will be in the squad for Sunday’s visit to Bradford Bulls, Pearce-Paul as a winger and Adebiyi as a prop.
“We’ll be looking for other players too,” said chairman Chris Hamilton. “We’ll keep fighting and we’ll turn the corner. There’s still a lot of rugby to be played this season.”
Wednesday’s 20-16 defeat by Dewsbury Rams, in which Danny Grimshaw (hamstring), Scott Turner (concussion) and Gareth Owen (damaged foot) were injured, was the Roughyeds’ seventh loss in a row.
A long casualty list also includes Richard Lepori (ankle), Phil Joy (shoulder), Craig Briscoe (knee) and Sammy Gee (wrist).
