Unbeaten run gives Dynamos a lift up

3D DYNAMOS’ first team has put together a four-match unbeaten run to climb up the second division table in the Lancashire Amateur League.

After a challenging start following their switch from the Huddersfield & District League, 3Ds appear to have adjusted to life in their new league.

They have been helped by having Adam Cuff, Kyle Moore and Josh Lane back after injury and the return to form of Zack Barton, who has scored seven goals in the last four matches.

The run began with a 4-0 win at Todmorden Borough with Barton and Cuff each scoring two goals.
That was followed by a 2-2 draw at Hesketh Casuals, Barton scoring both goals.

Next up was a 4-4 home draw against unbeaten and runaway league leaders Howe Bridge Mills, Dylan Hall scoring twice while Barton and Ben Lavin also found the net.

The final game in the sequence on Saturday, February 1 produced a dramatic 5-4 win at Wardle where Barton scored twice while Cuff, Dan McGroarty and Archie Burke were also on target.

The results have lifted 3D to ninth place in the 12-team division.

Manager Steve Laithwaite said: “We now look capable of climbing the table while playing to our potential.

“The young players, who came in to fill the gaps of the injured trio, now have much valuable game time under their belt at this level.”
