A CLINICAL display by Waterhead Warriors U18s completed a double after they defeated St Anne’s 42-0 in the final of the Oldham Cup at Saddleworth Rangers.
The youngsters ran home seven tries through Josh Whitehill (2), Regan Garforth, Liam Aspin, Dec Slicker, Ross Crawford and Tom Houraghan while Kegan Brennan kicked seven goals.
Brennan was named player of the match after he had a great kicking game while Will Dickinson, captain Houraghan and Garforth were all outstanding in a great team performance that put a smile back on the faces of coaches Keith Brennan and Jon Perks after a disappointing open-age season.
The team had already won the first division title in the North West Counties League.
