FROM MOUNTAIN peaks to famous landmarks, the Saddleworth Independent has been carried around the world with readers who have seen and done it all…

And loyal reader Neil Allsopp, a Saddleworth Parish Councillor, added Las Vegas to that list of destinations as he made sure to take his copy on holiday with his wife Carol.

Neil is pictured here with the newspaper on the “Strip” with the impressive Bellagio hotel, where they stayed during their visit.

And Carol kept the local news to hand while on a visit to the Grand Canyon with their ‘chopper’ from Maverick Helicopters.
