Where do you read yours? Snowy slopes in the sun

FROM SNOWY mountains to sunny beaches, Saddleworth Independent readers take a copy of the popular paper with them wherever they go…

And when Delph residents Raychel Hobbs and her fiancé Iain Blackwood enjoyed a long weekend trip away to Switzerland, they had the latest copy of the paper with them as they enjoyed the best of both worlds.

Iain, who is the Saddleworth Independent’s Sales Executive, took these photos of Raychel and friends as they paused for a break during their busy weekend.

He said: “We expected snow and cold weather but it was really warm – better than back in England!”

Raychel, who works at Bridges Estate Agents in Uppermill, added: “We had a great time but it was strange being woken up by the sounds of cows with bells around their necks!”
