BRASS band lovers can extend their Whit Friday celebrations by enjoying ‘Brass Fest 8’ the following day.
The special Whit Weekend concert will be held at the Civic Hall in Uppermill, organised by Champion Brass, on Saturday, May 26 starting at 7.30pm.
This year’s event brings music from top Yorkshire brass from The Hepworth Band, led by musical director Leigh Baker.
They will be joined by special guests from Switzerland, MG Buckten with musical director Cedric Fuhrer.
Phil Beckwith, from Champion Brass, said: “Brass Fest is now in its eighth year and once again the concert promises to offer the very best of brass so don’t miss out on a great night!”
Tickets cost £12 (concessions £11) and are available from Phil Beckwith by calling 07976 165815 or purchase from Post offices in Uppermill, Delph, Diggle and Greenfield, or from Delph Band Club or Saddleworth Museum.
