Tracy Johnson, who runs Saddleworth Street Dance in Delph, took a group of youngsters to the prestigious event and was delighted to come away with some glittering trophies.

Lucy Byron, 6, and Millie Mae Evans Robinson, 5, came second in the 6 and under duos category, and Millie also came second in the 6 and unders solo category.

Thrilled Tracy said: “Congratulations to the girls and I am so proud of them! They were fantastic.”

Meanwhile, the whole dance group was busy over Christmas as they teamed up with top drama school Wild Things from Rochdale to put on a production of ‘Babes in the Wood’.

Nearly 50 children were part of the unique pantomime at Denshaw Village Hall and put on four performances to thrill the audiences.
