SADDLEWORTH SCHOOL captured three trophies in the Oldham schools’ rugby finals.
And the year 11 team took pride of place made it a famous five by winning the event for a fifth successive year from year seven.
They triumphed following a 30-16 victory against Failsworth with Liam Aspin and Olly Russell both producing mesmeric handling skills.

The year seven team set the ball rolling with a 62-0 final victory against Failsworth with Gabriel Payne the player of the match.
There was also a triumph for year eight who edged past Crompton House 36-34 with Josh Yarwood their star performer.
Year nine failed to make it four wins as their depleted side – they were without seven regulars – lost 42-20 to Bluecoat following a brave display.
