SADDLEWORTH GOLF Club held its annual dinner at the White Hart, Lydgate, which was attended by 154 guests.
It was a chance to celebrate the previous 12 months with speeches given by outgoing captain Charles Nicholson and lady captain Pam Tomlinson.
Charles’ reply was unusual as it was done in verse in what was a great night that was enjoyed by all.
