3D DYNAMOS have picked up five pieces of silverware in a successful end to the season.
And with teams also reaching five other cup finals from Under-7s to senior level, the club has enjoyed a memorable campaign.
The first team’s triumph came in the Huddersfield and District League’s Groom Cup final when they beat Scissett 3-0 at Storthes Hall.
The game was pretty much over after five minutes as 3D established a 2-0 lead.
They went for the jugular from the kick-off and scored without the opposition touching the ball after they won a free kick on the right-hand side 30 yards out. Danny Laithwaite floated in the ball and Kyle Moore chested home after 45 seconds.
The second goal in the fifth minute followed a flowing move which resulted in Dylan Hall crossing for Adam Cuff to power home a diving header.
The third goal after 20 minutes saw Dylan Hall score a wonderful solo effort after chasing down the Scissett midfield and winning the ball back. He went past two players, before cutting inside and passing another player before smashing the ball passed the keeper into the bottom right corner.
3D’s junior and youth teams took part in the East Manchester Junior Football League’s cup finals at Curzon Ashton.
The four victories came in the Under-8s and U9s with two wins in each age group.
In the U8s, 3D Dynamos Blues beat Delamere Rangers and Yellows defeated Denton Youth Villa.
At U9s, 3D Dynamos Blues beat Cheshire Albion Tigers and Yellows beat Brendon Bees Stingers.
All three U7 teams were runners-up as Yellows lost to Hollinwood Hawkes, Reds were beaten by Tintwistle Blues and Blues went down to Hollinwood Juniors Blacks
The U10s lost to Grove Athletic in their final and the U15s to West End Greens 5-4 on penalties after the game was goalless after extra time.
