A UNIQUE gift and craft shop in Uppermill marked its own special occasion last month as it celebrated four successful years in business.
Viki Taylor and husband Dave, who run Authentic, served up mulled wine and cakes to customers to their Mill Street shop on the anniversary weekend on November 10-11.
Authentic is a treasure trove of eye-catching and interesting products, stocked from floor to ceiling and even lining the roof.
It currently stocks items from 41 artisans, ranging from robots, photographs, jewellery, knitted goods and cards to chocolate, bags, lights, glassware, books and more.
Local traders include Olganna, Wood Dragon Arts, Woozlewood, Sara V Gartside Designs, Ma’s Bars, Jan Davey, Steve Robinson Photography, and Bits and Bobbins.
And with Christmas just around the corner, it is the perfect place to pick up a gift for a loved one that is just a little bit different.
Viki, who is helped in the shop by sons Kasper and Oscar, said: “We’ve had a really good year, it’s been fabulous.
“Next year we’re going to build on what we’ve achieved and keep bringing in exciting and different artisans so keep coming back to have a look!
“We want to say thank you to all our customers who have supported us over the years and continue to do so.”
