AN AWARD-WINNING salon in Grotton is reaching even higher as it launches into 2015 with the evolution of their brand from The Face and Body Shop to the FAB Group.
Since being established in 1997, The Face and Body Shop has expanded from four to eight treatment rooms and flourished from hiring three staff to more than 20.

Along the way, it has clinched some of the beauty industry’s most highly coveted awards, including being named a Guinot Crown Salon, as well as winning business and service awards.
Now, Valerie and Steven Simpson, the owners and driving forces behind the success, have extended their business into the Fab Group as they add new services to their portfolio.
The group will encompass The Face and Body Shop as the newly named FAB Salon and they are excited to introduce FAB Clinic and Fab Windows.
Valerie said: “The introduction of FAB Clinic alongside FAB Salon will allow us to offer the most state-of-the-art cosmeceutical products and treatments as well as aesthetic interventions such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
“Using only the finest products available we can give genuine life-changing results for concerns such as anti-ageing, hyperpigmentation, vascular legions, active acne, rosacea, acne scaring, deep set wrinkles, laser hair removal and much more, using a range of treatments such as laser, sublative, sublime, skin rejuvenation, peels and dermalrollers.
“We will be investing in the latest tattoo removal machine which removes tattoos of any colour in half the time and with half the superficial damage to the skin than other machines on the market.
“Our cosmeceutical skincare lines offer clinically proven results and we are honoured to be one of only a handful of clinics in the country to be able to bring you Elizabeth Arden Pro products before their national launch later this year.
“We are also stockists of Obagi and Medik8 cosmeceutical skincare brands, some of which are prescription only.”
The Fab Windows venture has been years in the planning and came about as a result of sourcing difficulties for the window displays for the FAB Salon.
Steven said: “The windows at Fab Salon are a great communication tool for letting our clients know what is happening in the salon at a glance.
“For years we struggled to find the right kind of product so we decided to do it ourselves to take the stress out of it for everyone else.
“Our products, which can be bought online, offer all sorts of decorative, seasonal displays ideal for parties, weddings, pubs, shops or just to decorate your home – and prices start from as little as 75p!”
