Be part of Christmas Future for Uppermill Methodist Church at Mince Pie Mingle

MEMORIES of the past, fun for the present and plans for the future will all be laid bare at a festive ‘Mince Pie Mingle’ at Uppermill Methodist Church.

All are welcome to drop into the event, at the church in Uppermill Square, on Saturday, December 13 between 10am and 12.30pm. Entry and refreshments free.

‘Christmas Past’ will present the chance for people to share their memories, and secrets, about Uppermill Methodist Church from over the years.

Guests can mingle, munch and sup, while children can enjoy a special trail, in the spirit of ‘Christmas Present’.

And all are invited to give their views on plans for big changes for Uppermill Methodist Church as they look to ‘Christmas Future’.

The church would like as many people as possible who may have ideas about the best use of the premises – both the centre and the chapel – to drop in to the event to see them.

They are keen to hear from anyone with ideas, opinions or offers of help as they decide on the way forward, including dealing with major repairs.

This will allow them to maintain and expand community involvement with both church-run activities and other groups based there.
