COLOURFUL and creative window displays are bringing festive cheer as ‘Uppermill Advent’ returns.
The initiative sees a different home, business or attraction reveal an eye-catching Christmas display in their window each day from December 1 to 24.
The first one on the ‘living advent calendar’ this year was Saddleworth Museum and Art Gallery, on the village High Street, who gave a taste of Christmases past.
Other windows have already been unveiled on Church Road, Court Street, Sherbrooke Avenue and Wellington Road.
Look out around the village for more creations, which will then be on display until Twelfth Night – January 5, 2026.
