Big laughs for Bank Holiday Sunday at Saddleworth’s Comedy Club

FAMILIAR FACES from the telly are turning up to entertain in Saddleworth for a special Bank Holiday Sunday show at Off The Rails Comedy Club on April 30.

Rob Rouse, compere for the event at The Royal George in Greenfield, has just finished filming the second series of Ben Elton’s sitcom ‘Upstart Crow’ alongside David Mitchell.

Ireland’s Eleanor Tiernan has performed everywhere from Glastonbury Festival to a biker’s bar in the Philippines.

Tour support includes Stewart Lee, Reginald D. Hunter and her better-known cousin Tommy.

BBC New Comedy Award Winner Lost Voice Guy (AKA Lee Ridley) speaks via his iPad due to cerebral palsy.

After watching Ross Noble perform a lengthy set about Stephen Hawking, Ridley threw down a challenge that he could do the better impression. Noble found this so funny he incorporated it into his act which spurred Lee into taking to the stage himself.
