BUSINESS MOGUL Simon Arora will be the guest speaker at the Mahdlo Business Networking Breakfast on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.
Simon Arora is Chief Executive of B&M Retail, now one of the country’s largest retailers.
Under his leadership, B&M has grown from a loss-making business with just 21 stores to over 400 stores across the country as well as 49 in Germany, with sales exceeding £1.5 billion.
B&M has been repeatedly featured in The Sunday Times as one of the 100 fastest growing private companies and in 2014 debuted on the London Stock Exchange at a value of £2.7billion.
Prior to this, Mr Arora was co-founder and Managing Director of Orient Sourcing Services, and held various positions with McKinsey & Co., 3i and Barclays Bank.
At the Mahdlo Business Networking Breakfast from 8am to 10am, he will speak about his personal journey from humble beginnings to CEO of a FTSE 250 company.
He will also look at how his vision transformed an ailing business into one of the biggest retail operations of modern times and give his views on business, creating value and customer focus.
