Cannabis worth £12,000 seized by police in Oldham raid

Cannabis with an estimated street value of £12,000 has been seized in Oldham.

At 3.30pm on Monday 7 December 2015, officers from Oldham Challenger Organised Crime Unit executed a warrant at a house on Woodford Road, Failsworth.

Police searched the home and found a large amount of cannabis.

A 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and has been bailed until 19 February 2015.

Detective Inspector Paul Walker said: “This was another significant find as we continue to rid our streets of drugs.  The information we receive from the public is essential and I would ask anyone who knows where drugs are being dealt or produced to contact us.”
