THE NEXT Off The Rails Comedy Club sees a hilarious line-up take the stage on August Bank Holiday, Sunday August 28.
And if one of the comedians looks a little familiar it could well be that you’ve seen him on the telly or maybe he used to teach you Spanish!
Although best known for his appearances as Kenny Senior in classic sitcom Phoenix Nights, Archie Kelly was an established club land comic and singer for many years before that.
He also used to teach Spanish at North Chadderton secondary school so no chewing and keep your chair on four legs, not two!
Joining him on the night is Chris McCausland, the only professional comedian in the UK who is blind.
This only occasionally forms the focus of his stand-up, however the attentions of his unique brand of observational comedy are cast far and wide.
Completing the bill is Chris Kehoe, a barrister from Bolton, while compere for the evening is Glasgow’s Ray Bradshaw.
The show is at the Royal George, Manchester Road, Greenfield. Doors open 7.30pm starts at 8pm prompt. Admission £8.50/£5 NUS and tickets available from the Royal George or online at www.saddleworthcomedy.co.uk
