Jon Baylis gives a weather forecast for Saddleworth for the next few days…
Hello everyone. I hope you all had a great Christmas and all the best for 2019.
Hands up if you’re waiting for snow like me!
Thursday, January 10: After two much better days – yes, we actually saw some sunshine albeit windy and cold – today we drag the cloud back and milder air, but it should stay dry. Max 7°C.
Friday: Bright spells breaking through now and again. Max 9°C.
Weekend: Becoming unsettled with some rain spreading in from the west.
It will become windy at times too and a little bit cooler. Max 8°C.
Outlook: The unsettled theme continues. Towards the back end of the week, it looks set to turn a little colder with some wintry showers.
If you’re after some snowfall and much colder weather, I think we need to wait until 19th and beyond. Stay tuned.
